Oxford School & Sunday Schools System exists to make sure that no child in Pakistan is left without a classroom and no Christian child grows up without a community of faith around them.

Our Mission

To provide quality formal education and Christian spiritual formation to children from deprived communities in and around Lahore, removing the barriers of cost, distance, and hunger that keep them out of the classroom.

Our Vision

A generation of children — regardless of what their families can afford — who are educated, grounded in their faith, and equipped to lead their communities forward.

What We Believe

We believe education is one of the most powerful tools for lifting a family out of poverty, and that a child's spiritual growth matters as much as their academic growth. Both are woven into everything we do.

OUR STORY

Three Decades of Showing Up

Oxford School & Sunday Schools System began in 1998 as the vision of Farasat Liaqat, a Christian teacher and a preacher based in Pakistan.

She saw the same problem from different corners of Lahore, Pakistan: children growing up without access to school, and Christian families without a place to nurture their children's faith. Rather than run two separate efforts, she built one program that could do both.

Nearly three decades later, that shared vision has grown into a network of schools and Sunday School programs serving some of Lahore's most under-resourced communities. Many of the leaders serving their neighborhoods today teachers, pastors, professionals, and parents raising the next generation first walked through our doors as students.
